Something sweet, sticky, and made with tofu—it’s a recipe for two happy kids at dinner. I found Nora Cooks’ recipe for Crispy Baked Orange Tofu and decided I had to give it a try. Inspired by orange chicken, it’s a healthy, meatless alternative to the traditional Chinese take-out dish. Baked tofu gets swapped in place of chicken, and orange juice, vegetable broth, sugar, tamari, ginger, rice vinegar, and garlic comprise the sweet sauce. I served the orange tofu on top of brown rice with a side of broccoli, and it was quickly gobbled up by tiny, sticky hands!

Kid approved? YES! YES! YES! (Can you tell Hannah loved it?? I omitted the Sriracha hot sauce from the recipe to keep it kid friendly, but for us grownups I drizzle a little bit on top.)
Baby approved? YES! YES! YES! (Parker ate this at 9 months old and would whine when he wanted more tofu!)
