Super Energy Balls!

Whenever Hannah is having a hard time relaxing for her afternoon nap, I tell her that I’ll have a special treat waiting for her when she wakes up and that usually cheers her up. So during nap time I’ll spend 20 minutes whipping up a dozen Super Energy Balls just for her. What makes them super? They’re SUPER EASY! Simply mix up the ingredients, roll them into balls, and pop them into the freezer for 15-20 minutes. And when Hannah wakes up she immediately asks about the special treat, and wouldn’t you know, I have Super Energy Balls ready for her. Mommy to the rescue!

Kid approved? YES!

Baby approved? YES! Parker started eating Super Energy Balls at 9 months old. I give him tiny little bites, not the entire ball at once.

UPDATE: Hannah no longer takes naps, so my secret snack-making time has come to an end. But now she is my kitchen helper! Super Energy Balls are a great hands-on recipe for kids, watch how Hannah makes them.
